Indian Head

During August to November whales may even be seen frolicking in the warm Queensland Pacific Ocean from this perfect vantage point. If you have binoculars don't forget to take them with you.

Champagne Pools

Not far north from Indian Head (a casual walk) the Champagne Pools can be seen. The Champagne Pools names for their beautiful colour are formed by a natural volcanic rock barrier partially shielding the beach from the ocean surf. The pools can provide a unique bathing experience on hot Queensland summer days.
