Hervey Bay
Hervey Bay is located approximately 300 kilometres north of Brisbane. Bordered by 40 kilometres of pristine beaches it offers visitors access to islands and adventure in a beautiful safe aquatic playground.
The beach esplanade of the City offers 14 kilometres of shared pedestrian, wheelchair and bicycle pathways and there are plenty of places to hire bikes and scooters. Along the length of the esplanade there are oodles of spots perfect for picnics and barbecues, as well as children’s play areas, and public shower / toilet facilities. The sheltered beaches of Hervey Bay are protected by Fraser Island and offer visitors a perfect swimming and fishing environment with no nasties and unfortunately no surf (very child friendly).
