4WD Essentials Package

Whether you've already got your own camping gear, or you're planning on staying in one of the beautiful accommodation options on the island, Safari 4WD Hire can offer you the essentials package for when you only require a 4WD vehicle for your K'gari (Fraser Island) adventure.

What's included:

• Toyota Prado Automatic Transmission 4WD hire (includes standard off road liability cover, unlimited kms and a damage loss liability of $5,000).
• Pre-booked return barge transfers, exiting Hervey Bay ONLY.
• Standard administration fee.

Let us know how many of you will be travelling and your preferred barge transfer times - it's as simple as that!

You are required to complete a 4WD Safety Briefing with us before you head off on your adventure, complete with suggested itineraries, maps, the need-to-knows about safely driving on sand and support with booking your vehicle access/camping permits!

K'gari Beach Resort (formerly Eurong Beach Resort)

A relaxing escape, located on 75 Mile Beach. Originally built in the 1970s, the resort has undergone multiple refurbishments. With resort style rooms, apartments and beach houses, there really is something for everyone. You'll also find the McKenzie's on 75 Restaurant & Bar, Eurong Bakery and General Store. The resort is fully dingo fenced with beach and inland 4WD access available.

Kingfisher Bay Resort 

An award winning eco resort located on the Western Side of K'gari (Fraser Island). The resort has rooms, villas and holiday houses available for your stay. There’s plenty of facilities including an island day spa, dining, swimming pools, bars, general store, and the famous jetty (a lovely spot for an afternoon cocktail). The resort is fully dingo fenced with inland access only.
